Excited! I’ve been invited to speak to a local book club this week, “Tea and Things”. To repay their kindness I plan to give them each a gift bag. I did this to the first club and the members seemed pleased. They didn’t boot me out in the rain.
Inside each bag will be two mints, sun screen, bug repellant, an alligator decoy (toy), local book store business card (where my paperbacks are available), my business card, and a $5.00 Amazon gift card.
I call this bag – a swamp survival kit.
Hopefully, all of that will encourage sales of my Swamp Stories, a series of three. Of course, they might buy from a different author. They might by a fraction of a ticket to Bermuda or a portion of a pair of Beckham Briefs.
