I’m dancing in the kitchen with a rooster.

You might have heard of another author by the name of Chaucer, also my dearly departed golden lab. Mr. Chaucer wrote a tale in the English town of Canterbury about a rooster named Chanticleer which is French for “sings clear”. 

Chanticleer Book Reviews and Media annually holds a writing contest and I entered my second novel, Swamp Secret.  My good friend and fellow author entered her second novel, A Path Through the Garden. Oh, by the way, she won last year for her first book, Nardi Point. This year she won again in the “Restorative” category.

My beloved characters from both Swamp Run and Swamp Secret are joining the rooster in my kitchen to dance in celebration. We won first place in the “Southern Romance” category!
