In my Writing World there are now two notebooks of importance. The newer one is filling up with planning, research, and quotes for use in my next novel. I often turn it on its side and draw a rough time line by scene and chapter. My characters and currently named Hero and Shero sprinkle the pages with possible names.
May I please digress into my Other World? I’m also collecting names for my daughter and her husband to consider for our First Grand Child! Yes, you may congratulate me.
The second notebook is my Bible, my second Bible, not the morning devotional. I haven’t gone over the edge. No, this one is my Writing Bible. It contains daily writing schedules, long-range objectives, blog drafts, research websites, daily promotionals to post tweet, blurb and log line attempts, possible book titles to read or adopt; an understandably important book to me.
The Plot Twist happens when the Demanding Other World hires painters into the mix, into my Creation Station. They invaded and moved lots of stuff, and I do mean lots. Two hours of panic after the Bible was needed, I found it hiding under a box of antique VCR tapes and bathroom towels.
I hugged the Bible to my chest and cried, “Enough!”
